Love Letters

That is, we love your letters.  We received this fabulous piece of fan mail from Shonni & Michael of Brooklyn, NY, and they agreed to let us post it here.  Are you a fan too? Please share by commenting here on our blog, our Facebook page, or if you’re feeling shy, e-mail us at info@sweetscoops.com. We might just send you something sweet in appreciation!

We (Michael and Shonni) just had to write you. We are connoisseurs of ice cream, and we have to say, your frozen yogurt is not only as good as the best ice cream we’ve had, we think IT’S BETTER. WE ARE AMAZED!  We just did a google map to figure out how close to our house we can get your ice cream–excuse us, frozen joy!!!! How do you do it? It’s just phenomenal.

Let us explain: I (Shonni) am in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on a fellowship at Harvard, house-sitting for a friend, and missing my partner, Michael—so I go to the local grocery, feeling lonely, ready to buy my sad, sad dinner, when I notice there is a frozen yogurt brand I have never tried. So I pick up your Ginger, and take it home, and let me say, I was OVERWHELMED. It made my night. It’s only been a week, and I’m on my third pint (I’ve had Ginger, Mint Chocolate Chip, and now I’m on Coffee Cookies and Cream). Michael came to visit this weekend, and the first thing I did was make him try your frozen yogurt. Suffice to say, he loved it. And the rest is history.

HATS OFF TO YOU, SWEET SCOOPS! BLESS YOU AND YOURS! LONG LIVE SWEET SCOOPS!”

Yours in frozen joy,
Shonni and Michael, Brooklyn, NY

Love your ice cream! Coffee cookies and cream is RIDIC! I also like the pumpkin. I love that I can have a few scoops and not ruin my diet. PLUS it tastes amazing! I usually don’t like frozen yogurt. It’s never creamy enough and it never tastes as good as the real deal….. Sweet Scoops is the real deal. I’m going to try every flavor!

I just moved to Lexington, MA from Boston. Our local Stop and Shop is a quick and easy trip for me when I’m pressed for time. I have to say that Stop and Shop is just an OK supermarket, and I don’t expect anything out of the ordinary when I shop there. On one particular day, I was desperately trying to find ice cream/yogurt that was all natural for my family. Not easy when shopping there. Finally I found Sweet Scoops. The Dutch Chocolate Chip is a huge hit, and I love the ingredients. Tonight I just tried the Mocha Mudslide Chunk. OMG!! Could it get any better?

Thank you Sweet Scoops. For distributing to my local (not so great) supermarket, for being accessible, local, and all natural.

    Sincerely,

    Devoted Fan

We tried Sweet Scoops for the first time last week. I had never tried it and noticed the Wild Maine Blueberry flavor. We brought home the blueberry for dessert and it was so yummy we ate the whole pint that same night. We liked sweet scoops so much I went back to the supermarket the next day and purchased 3 pints of blueberry, the ginger, vanilla, dutch chocolate chip. I wanted to get the coffee flavor also – but didn’t want to be too much of an ice cream addict in one trip :)
I served the blueberry and ginger for dessert with some friends (DAY 2) and sent home a pint with one of our guests. Another trip to the store is going to come up soon, we are out of the blueberry again and almost done with the ginger already. Did I mention we are ice cream addicts?
    Keep up the great stuff.

I waited too long to try your ginger frozen yogurt…wow! I’m on a constant search for ginger ice cream. It’s an impossible flavor to find pre-packed. I’ve seen your fro-yo at Roche Bros for awhile & thought if it was yogurt, it wouldn’t be good. I was so wrong! It’s amazing!!

We’re thrilled you finally “gave in” to the call of our Ginger pints, Aris, and were so delighted with the result. Please help us spread the word and tell a friend!
